Behavior in the land of the pure
It is said that “A country is judged by its people”, The more friendlier the people the better the country. We call ourselves the most favored nation of the almighty. Have you ever asked yourself that what constitutes “a favourable nation of the Almighty” ? A nation which just prays to him all the time and considers it job done? Well for that matter the Almighty has angels who do nothing but pray to him in supplication. So what is lagging? The religion states that the human rights are of prime importance and the Almighty will let the human rights violation go unpunished. Having said that it is safe to say now human rights is one of the key factors to judge a nation.
It would not be difficult to prove, where we stand as a nation. We fight among ourselves, cannot tolerate each other, have no respect for other religions and have no morals. We pride ourselves as a huge military power but if the time requires are we capable of being a power at a collective level? Though I am quite an optimist myself but I don’t think so.
I can go on and on about what is wrong with this nation but I tend not to. Instead I would rather share a few habits that we need to inculcate in us. First being is to be happy and contended with what we have. Always greet another with “Assalamualaikum” or “Hello”. Try to develop a habit of smiling often. it will make you feel good at heart. Try to include exercise in the daily routine. Try to do at least something new everyday. Try to say “please” if you require someone’s assistance, always thank him for his services with “ Thankyou” and wish him farewell with “ Have a nice day –KhudaHafiz”. Donot beat about the bush. It is better to say “No” to a person rather than giving him false hope. Above all be punctual. If you cant make an appointment on time inform the other party that you would be running late.
These practices do not require any big change in lifestyle or require expensive infrastructure. All we need to do is to develop these habits in us and then see the fun. Just try and experiment these things in your own life and see the difference. But the billion dollar question is these things people already know, its all the part of the religion. So why are they not part of our lives? So how can we say that we are the most favored nation of the Almighty to have waked the Earth.
